Disclaimer: You should wear whatever makes you comfortable on your skin. This is some of the products and makeup look that works best for me. I'm writing this post because I want to share the products I used to get this look! I don't wear this every day because it is a little bit too heavy but I mean there are those days when you just wanna look different than usual, right? I hope you like this post. 👅 💜 btw I usually wear this on a night out with my friends. I think it's too much for daytime lol 💁
Step by Step:
I always start off my makeup by spraying Mac's Primer all over my face. Personally, I think it is very important to use a primer before you apply any makeup on your face. There are several reasons to why you should use it: 💖
1. It helps moisturize your face. You don't want to start with a dry face and apply foundation on it.
2. Keeps your makeup last longer! (THIS IS A MUST FOR ME)
3. It evens out your skin
4. Reduces the look of the large pores
This primer has been my holy grail for a while now. I've used different primers by brands but so far this is one of the best.
I always switch between this foundation (Pro-long wear foundation in the shade of NC35) and Lancome's Ultra 24 hour foundation. And of course, I've experienced many other foundations but since I crave for a full coverage look, I mainly use these two foundations. For this look today, I used this.
I'm not much of a concealer person but I plan to try it out in the future and see the difference with and without it. I've tried different types of makeup tools to apply my foundations in the past such as: a beauty blender, normal foundation brush, sponge, buffers, etc.. but guess what works for me the most? My own fingers! ✌ My foundations don't get wasted and it seems to apply smoother on my skin.
There's this silicone trend going on, I've always wanted to give it a try but I never had the time to go buy it. Maybe I should get my lazy butt to go buy it and check them out!
I recently purchased this duo stick from 3CE Stylenanda. One good thing about this is that it has both the highlighter and the bronzer on the same stick! I'm more of a powder person when it comes to highlighters and bronzer so not such a huge fan of this but I got it so I thought i'd use it for this look. I used the darker shade to draw it on the hollows of my cheeks and on the two sides of my nose. Then, I used the lighter shade to draw a line on my cheekbones, above the darker shade I applied before and drew on my nose in between my two darker shades. I blend them all with my beauty blender. Why do you contour your face? Because it makes my face look slimmer. Guys, don't ever apply bronzer directly on your cheekbones because THAT will not help if you're going for a slim look.

| Translucent Face Powder |
After blending out everything with my beauty blender, I use a face powder to set my foundation. I always switch between these two products depending on how my makeup turns out to be. If I need more coverage, then I use the Canmake Face Powder. Laura's doesn't help if you want coverage because obviously by the name of it, it is translucent. Canmake is one of my favorite Japanese brands. It's really cheap and affordable. Their quality is pretty good for a cheap product. For this look, I used Canmake's Face Powder.
Now let's talk about eyebrows. Your entire look can change depending on how your eyebrows look. It changes the entire game, man! I always make sure I shape my brows. I use both tweezers and eyebrow shavers. I don't need to have my eyeliner, eyeshadow or my lips done but I need or MUST ALWAYS HAVE my eyebrows done to leave my house. Ever since the day I filled in my brows, I never really saw the point of just using an eyebrow powder. It doesn't really change my brow. Maybe coz my brows are too thick idk well, it's different for all of us I guess. So I either use a brow pencil or a dipbrow.

I used this product for my eyebrows for this look. My eyebrows turn out sharper at the end when I use my brush to fill them in. Pencils are great but my hand can't seem to draw a straight line so brush works better for me.
MOVING ON TO THE EYESSSS! This is always the fun part!
I love to play around with different colours on my eyes and whenever I go makeup shopping, I seem to always have an eyeshadow in my shopping bag. Instead of buying one shade, I tend to buy like eyeshadow palettes. I just love how there are a lot of colours on a palette. I didn't want my eyes to look too dark because I usually wear dark outfits and I don't want my face makeup to match with my outfit. I wanted a balanced look.

Usually I'm always too lazy to apply eyeshadow as my every day look so it's more like no eyeshadow or a 1 or 2 shades of eyeshadows. That's it. But when it comes to night outs and events, I put a little effort on my makeup so that's when my eyeshadow palettes come in handy. Whenever I pick an outfit to wear, I immediately know what kind of look I'm going for. So I'm never really like, "What should my makeup be for today?"
Anyways, so first, I apply the shade Milk Chocolate on the crease of my eyelids from inner to outer corners, Salted Caramel as my middle hue on my eyelids, Champagne Truffle for bottom lash lines, Marzipan on my inner corners of my eyes to brighten my eyes and Gilded Ganache on the outer corners of my bottom lash lines to give it a bit of an edgy look.

Oh, I am not done with my eyeshadows yet. I got this eye shadow from a close friend as a gift and I loveeee loveeee this shade. It's a gold colour with glitters in it. It's more of a white gold than a yellow gold. I applied this on my eyelids as well, just a teeny tiny bit of it to give my eyes some light.
Following Kat Von D's eyeliners, this is one of my favorite eyeliners as well. It's a Japanese brand and the main reason I love this is because it has a sharp tip which makes it easier for me to draw my liner. I usually use a black liner but for this look I decided to use a brown liner just because the eyeshadows are a bit brown and I thought it would look nicer with a brown liner. Again, I don't want my eyes to look a lot heavier than it is since I'm also applying false lashes.
If you have girl friends like I do and when we go on night outs, we take A LOT of pics together. False lashes bring out your eyes even more. I don't wear these every day because either I already have eyelash extensions on or use mascara only. False lashes are a bit heavy and I respect those who can wear them every day. I mean, god how do you survive through the day with heavy eyelids. I already feel heavy with mascara and eyeliner on. But respect tho! I picked up these from a drugstore near by. It is DUP's eyelashes in collaboration with Rola, one of the famous models trending in Japan now. The type of these lashes are #03SEXY
Finally done with the eyes! Next, are my lips!!! My lips are so thin and small I have to always line them to make them look a little bit thicker. To those who are blessed with thick lips, good for you 💦

One of the shades I've stuck to for years. It goes with any look!
Well, well to finish off the look I added a bit of my bronzer & highlighter again, not the cream ones this time!

Starting off with my I 💗 Makeup's Highlighter & Blush. I recently came across this beautiful baby while makeup shopping at LOFT (Japan). I think it's a Japanese brand. I'm not so sure about that but this highlighter though. It's such a cute shade. I applied this with a brush on the apples of my cheeks to give my face some warmth. So that I won't look dead. 😓 😉
Next, I applied the bronzer on the hollows of my cheeks. It is not too dark and I love that about this product. It also contains glitter. Lastly, finishing off my look, I apply this afterglow highlighter on my nose, the tip of my nose and on top of my lips to bring out my nose and my lips.
Oh yeah, and I spray my Mac's prep & primer all over my face again
And... VOILA!
I know it was a long post but I had fun writing it! I plan to do more of this! I know makeup tutorial videos are a lot easier for you as viewers but I'm a bit too camera shy when it comes to talking in front of a camera!
ANDDDDD guess who's excited for EDC 2k17. It's finally happening in Japan and thank god, one of my friends was able to get the tickets for me! Thank You 💘💘 I'm stoked for THAT and maybe I'll do a post on my makeup look for that too. I'm not sure yet coz I still don't know what kind of look I'm going with but maybe! Will keep that in mind!

All images of the products are from both Google and Pinterest. Mine's are too dirty coz I have used them many times so they are not picture worthy! Sorry about that ^^
Thank you, thank YOU for reading this long post! What should I write about next? 💜
